Conspire With Me

While I am thinking about contentment, let me just challenge you to bring this concept into your Christmas this year. We have so much, and so much of the world has so little.

Why not join the Conspiracy and make this Christmas the best ever, for you and for those less fortunate? Let's be co-conspirators, your family and mine.

Watch the video and get inspired. There is so much we can do.

Let's get started.

Such a good reminder. It is easy to get caught up in it all. I think I have to remind my self often not to get to commercialized with the holidays.

This is such a great message. With my oldest graduating this year I realize how much time with family means and how little things mean.
Smiles!

Joy,

So good to hear from you and see what you are learning and how you are growing! You didn't tell me you started blogging again... what is that about?! :0)
I love the video... it is the third time a friend has put it on a blog! BUt your write up on contentment along with the pictures from the village you visited really impacted my heart. I am showing the pictures to the kids right now!

Love you

Our family is doing something similar, but through Gospel for Asia. Our kids decided to purchase a pair of sheep for a family in India.

So glad you're back! :)

I think that buying a pair of sheep for a family is the coolest thing ever! I love reaching out to the world in practical, tangible ways!

Blessings,
Joy

Ang,
You know our recent e-mail exchange was a lot of the reason behind my contentment post. :) I realized that I wasn't being content with what God has given me, and I needed to fix it!
Love ya girl,
Joy

Joy - this video was great! I'm planning to link to this on Friday with a few ideas I've been mulling over on the topic even before reading your post. Love, Monica

Joy,
My daughter showed us this video. Their church is doing this. Great idea.

Samaritan's Purse and World Vision has gift ideas to help Third World countries. From buying animals, medical supplies, school supplies, clean water, etc. I want to do it this year, but it's going to be hard to choose since I would like to do it all.

Thanks for the reminder.

Blessings,

Joy,

I'd seen a link to this video a few times and never taken the time to watch it--I'm so glad I did now. A gripping message that we all need to hear.

I've been working on a series of posts relevant to this topic and plan to link to this clip. Thanks!
